Rory Mathews

Rory Mathews is a seasoned professional with a robust background in policy, economics, and education. Currently serving as a Senior Policy and Partnerships Officer for Low Carbon at Greater Manchester Combined Authority since January 2023, Rory previously held the role of Senior Economic Analyst at Gemserv from April 2021 to January 2023 and at Ecuity Consulting LLP from July 2018 to April 2021. Rory's career began in education, initially as a Mathematics Teacher and then as the Assistant Curriculum Team Leader for Mathematics at Aldersley High School, following participation in the Teach First Leadership Development Programme. Rory's academic credentials include a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham. Additionally, Rory has had diverse roles, including a brief period of travel and experience in golf operations with Hilton Worldwide.
