Jonathan Rebar has worked in the software engineering industry since 2003. Jonathan began their career as a student at Florida State University, before becoming a Lab Specialist, Lab Monitor, and Peer Tutor at Full Sail University from 2008-2010. In 2010, they became an Associate Software Engineer at Cubic, where they were responsible for implementing internationalization and localization solutions for two separate 3D marksmanship trainers. Jonathan then moved to n-Space in 2011 as a Software Engineer, where they developed the title Roller Coaster Tycoon 3DS. Jonathan then joined Electronic Arts in 2012 as a Software Engineer, before moving to IllFonic in 2013 in the same role. In 2015, they became a Senior UI Engineer at Blind Squirrel Games, and in 2019 they were a UI Programmer at Obsidian Entertainment. Jonathan is currently a Senior Engineer at Frost Giant Studios, Inc. since 2022.
Jonathan Rebar has a diverse educational background. Jonathan began their studies at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where they earned a BA in Musical Theatre Performance, Music, and Dance in 2003. Jonathan then attended Florida State University, where they earned an MFA in Lighting Design in 2004. In the same year, they also earned an MFA in Lighting Design from the University of Maryland College Park. In 2008, Jonathan earned a BS in Game Development from Full Sail University. Jonathan also attended Patmos: Reality Discipleship, though no degree was earned.
