Tom Watson

Technical Director at Frost Giant Studios

Tom Watson has worked in the software engineering industry for over a decade. In 2008, they began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at WMS Gaming. Tom then moved to Wideload Games in 2013, where they worked as a Programmer primarily using the Unity Engine and developed a visual scripting language that integrated into the Unity IDE, as well as worked on UI and gameplay features. In 2014, they joined Wargaming.net as a Tools Programmer. In 2015, they became a Software Engineer, Mobile at NetherRealm Studios (WB Games). Tom then moved to Blizzard Entertainment in 2016, where they held the roles of Senior Software Engineer II, Tools and Senior Software Engineer, Tools. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Principal Software Engineer at Frost Giant Studios, Inc.

Tom Watson attended The University of Manchester from 2004 to 2008, where they received a Master of Science (MSc) in Advanced Computer Science and a BSC in Computer Science.
