Martin Marchetta

Martin Marchetta's work experience includes being the VP of Research & Development at Frubana since July 2021. Martin is also a Co-Founder of Logic Wand since March 2019. Martin has a long history at Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, where they are currently a researcher at the Intelligent Systems Laboratory (LABSIN) and was previously the Head of the laboratory. Martin has interests in Artificial Intelligence, Mechatronics, Information Systems, Operations Research, Optimization, Supply Chain Management, and Logistics. Martin worked as an Independent Consultant at Wilson Allen from October 2014 to February 2019, focusing on software engineering and business intelligence. Martin was the VP of Engineering at SplitNGo from December 2013 to June 2016. At CME Offshore, Martin served as the Lead Engineer from March 2010 to December 2014, leading the RecoveryPlanner project. Additionally, they have held chairman roles at the 42nd Argentine Conference on Informatics and the 40th Argentine Conference on Informatics. Martin Marchetta started their career as a PhD Fellow at CONICET and later worked as a Lecturer at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.

Martin Marchetta holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, which they completed between 2005 and 2009. Their Ph.D. focused on Industrial Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Logistics, and Information Systems. Additionally, they obtained an M.Sc. degree in Design Global - Recherche en Innovation et Conception Intégrée (Innovation Management) from Universite de Lorraine in 2008 and 2009. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2002, they pursued their B.S. degree in Information Systems and Computer Science at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
