Scott McCombs

Scott McCombs has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Scott currently holds the position of Chief Financial and Accounting Officer at Fruit of the Earth. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Buff City Soap, where they played an interim role in a start-up family-run business. Scott also worked as the Chief Financial and Accounting Officer at Stryve Foods, where they successfully led and completed an IPO sale transaction and business combination valued at $170 million.

Before their roles in the consumer goods industry, McCombs worked at CBRE as the SVP Americas Finance and US Chief Financial Officer. Scott was responsible for various departments, including Corporate FP&A, Division Finance, Line of Business Finance, Business Intelligence, Business Operations, and Corporate M&A/Recruiting.

Prior to CBRE, McCombs served as a Senior Finance Executive in Private Equity at Yucaipa Private Equity, where they worked on accounts such as Fresh & Easy Grocery Stores and Wild Oats Marketing. Scott also held the position of SVP Finance & Accounting at RadioShack.

Earlier in their career, McCombs worked at 7-Eleven, where they held various roles, including VP Finance and Accounting, Merchandise, Pricing, and Business Intelligence. Scott also has experience as Chief of Staff in Strategy, Investor Relations, and Treasury at 7-Eleven. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct MBA Professor of Business at Southern Methodist University and as a Sr. Treasury Analyst in the Financial Leadership Management Program at Digital Equipment Corporation.

Scott McCombs has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from Boston University. Scott also attended the Boston College Carroll School of Management, where they focused on Econometrics and Quantitative Economics. Additionally, McCombs completed an MBA Executive Strategy / Accounting / Finance Program from Harvard Business School. Scott furthered their executive education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Lastly, they attended the Institute of Management Accountants.
