Kyle Nielsen

Kyle Nielsen has a diverse range of work experience in technology-related roles. Kyle is currently working as the Director of Technology at Fruitport Community Schools since July 2022. Previously, they worked at Grand Valley State University for several years, starting as a Network Systems Engineer in April 2012 and later becoming a Senior Network Systems Engineer in August 2015. In August 2021, they transitioned to the role of Solutions Architect. During their time at the university, Kyle was responsible for providing technical support for Cisco-based LAN, managing network infrastructure, troubleshooting wired and wireless networks, and installing and supporting various network tools and technologies.

Before their tenure at Grand Valley State University, Kyle worked at Baker College as an Adjunct Instructor from August 2009 to July 2017. Kyle taught a range of technology-related courses, including Windows Server, Wireless Networking, Network Security, Linux, and PC maintenance.
