Lihi Gur-Arie

Lihi Gur-Arie, PhD, is an accomplished Computer Vision Algorithm Developer with expertise in deep learning and a strong background in molecular microbiology and genetics. Currently employed at FruitSpec since March 2023, Lihi develops deep learning models for crop analysis and yield prediction. Previous roles include Deep Learning Researcher at Seed-X, specializing in computer vision algorithms, and Deep Learning Engineer at DSP-IP, where Lihi implemented tailored machine learning solutions. Lihi's research experience also includes a position at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, focusing on drug discovery using machine learning to predict antibiotic properties. Educational credentials include a PhD from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Molecular Microbiology, an MS in Molecular Genetics, and a BS in Human Genetics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
