Director Project Execution at FS-Elliott

Richard K. has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Richard is currently working at FS-Elliott as the Director of Project Execution, where they lead a team of Project Managers and oversees activities from contract inception to product commissioning. Prior to this, they worked as the Project Execution Manager at FS-Elliott, responsible for ensuring efficiency, economy of operations, and maximizing profits. Richard also served as a Project Manager at FS-Elliott, where they managed the on-time delivery and financial oversight of multi-million dollar engineered and industrial air compressors for global operations.

Before joining FS-Elliott, Richard worked at Ralph A. Hiller Company as a Project Engineer III, where they developed and tested pneumatic rotary products for nuclear power plants. Richard successfully developed the rotary actuator line, becoming a bestselling product in the company's portfolio. Richard also authored qualification documents that received praise from the Westinghouse AP 1000 Qualification department.

Prior to that, Richard worked at Alion Science and Technology as a Mechanical Designer, where they designed safety systems for Naval and Coast Guard vessels and a prototype amphibious attack hovercraft system. Richard also modified ship piping and plumbing to coincide with retrofits and upgrades.

Earlier in their career, Richard worked as a Project Engineer at Advanced Processes Inc, where they scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and machinery installs for an industrial briquetting facility. Richard also designed industrial briquette compaction machines and OEM replacement parts.

Richard's work experience also includes a role as a Manufacturing Staff member at Sony Electronics Corporation and a Technical Analyst at Point Park University.

Richard K. has a diverse education history. Richard began their post-secondary education in 1999 at Western Michigan University, studying aeronautical engineering for one year. In 2000, they transferred to the Community College of Allegheny County, where they pursued general studies for one year.

In 2001, Richard enrolled at Point Park University and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology in 2005. Richard then continued their education at the same university, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management between 2007 and 2009.

Beyond their formal education, Richard K. also holds a certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in November 2017.
