Josh Stabiner

Josh Stabiner is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer at Vista Equity Partners since December 2024. Stabiner has held the position of Venture Advisor at YL Ventures since July 2019 and leads the Alternative Investors Council as Chairman at FS-ISAC, a role undertaken since June 2016. Previously, Stabiner was Chief Information Security Officer at General Atlantic from March 2018 to November 2024 and also served on the Cybersecurity Advisory Board at Pace University from April 2020 to June 2022. Prior to that, Stabiner was Managing Director and Chief Information Security Officer at Pine River Capital Management, after a brief collaboration as a Guest Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory. The career began at Ernst & Young, where Stabiner spent nearly a decade as Senior Manager overseeing Cyber Threat Management Advisory Services for the Financial Services Sector. Stabiner holds both an M.S. and a B.A. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
