Emil Taimazov, MBA, CFA, has extensive experience in financial planning and analytics across multiple prominent organizations. At the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), Emil serves as a Senior Advisor and Senior Manager, focusing on financial planning and analytics. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Planning and Analytics at Rogers Communications and Rogers Bank, as well as positions in loss management strategy and credit card portfolio management at Capital One. Emil has also contributed to customer insights analytics at BMO Financial Group and consumer loyalty initiatives at Air Miles, Loyalty One. Educational credentials include an MBA in International Business from The University of Akron and a BS in Finance from Susquehanna University.
Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA)
The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is a new, independent regulatory agency created to improve consumer and pension plan beneficiary protections in Ontario. FSRA was established to replace the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario (DICO). The agency is flexible, self-funded and designed to respond rapidly to an evolving commercial and consumer environment.
