Ben Collingwood

Ben Collingwood is the Managing Director and Senior Principal Geotechnical Engineer at FSG Geotechnics & Foundations, a prominent geotechnical consulting practice established in 2010, focusing on various aspects of foundation engineering and site characterization. Prior to this, Ben served as a Design Engineer and Construction Manager at Wagstaff Piling Pty Ltd, where responsibilities included geotechnical and structural design, project engineering, and management for foundation construction projects. Ben's early career included roles at Monash University as a Ph.D. candidate studying the effects of construction practices on rock socketed piles, a Geotechnical Engineer at Golder Associates, and an Engineer at Transfield Tunnelling. Ben holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Geotechnical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, both from Monash University.
