Vijay Fernando

Vijay Fernando has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and analytics. Vijay is currently serving as the Vice President of Data Engineering at FSS. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon Web Services as a Specialist Solutions Architect Leader in Data & Analytics. Vijay also held the position of Director of Data Platform at Ola (ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd) and Director of Big Data, Research & Advanced Analytics at WNS Global Services. Vijay has also worked as an independent consultant specializing in business intelligence and big data. Earlier in their career, they held various technical roles at Boeing, Hummaa Infotainment, Yahoo India, Intel Corporation, and Oracle Corporation.

Vijay Fernando earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Tele Communication Engineering from Bharathiar University between 1993 and 1997. Additionally, Vijay obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional in March 2022, and the AWS Partner: Cloud Economics Accreditation in 2021.
