Sonia Cheng

Sonia Cheng is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information governance, privacy, and security across various industries. Currently serving as the Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting since June 2016, Sonia leads the European Information Governance, Privacy & Security practice, spearheading global privacy and data governance initiatives. Previous roles include Managing Director at FTI Consulting and Business Development Executive at IBM, where Sonia focused on analytics solutions and compliance strategies. With a background that encompasses leadership positions in technology and consulting firms, Sonia has a strong track record of managing complex projects and developing strategic recommendations for various stakeholders. Sonia holds a BS in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and has pursued further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and London Business School.
