Wouter Veugelen

Wouter Veugelen is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Head of Cybersecurity Australia and Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting since January 2023, where responsibilities include advising on information security strategy, compliance, and incident response. Wouter also holds a position as an Executive Advisory Board Member of the Australian Information Security Association. Previously, Wouter was the VP Global Cyber & Information Security and Chief Information Security Officer at Santos Ltd until December 2022, contributing to a major merger that positioned the company among the largest oil and gas entities globally. Earlier roles include Chief Information Security Officer at Healius Limited and Director of Cyber Security Consulting at PwC, where Wouter managed extensive teams and portfolios.
