Keyla also worked as an Associate Director of Gender and Sexuality Concerns at the University at Albany Student Association, where they were responsible for event planning and advocating for policies related to gender and sexuality.

Keyla Navarro earned their Bachelor's Degree from the University at Albany, SUNY, where they majored in Psychology, Women's Studies, and Business Communications. Keyla attended the university from 2014 to 2018.
