Jaila Johnson

Jaila Johnson has a diverse work experience, beginning with their work as a Box Office Attendant and Vanderbilt Dance Program at Vanderbilt University in 2014. In 2015, they began working as a Content Creator for JaiChanellie, where they built a following of 25,000 followers across all social media platforms and created promotional content for various natural hair and beauty brands. In the same year, they also began working as a Teacher Assistant and Resident Advisor for the TRIO, Upward Bound Program. In 2017, they began working as a Lead Exam Proctor for the University of South Florida. In 2019, they began working as a Science Teacher at Tyrone Middle School and an Adjunct Instructor at St. Petersburg College, as well as a DE&I Facilitator for Inclusivity, LLC. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Social & Community Manager for Fuego and a Social Media Manager for Creative Circle.

Jaila Johnson began their educational journey in 2009, when they earned their High School Diploma from International Baccalaureate. Jaila then went on to attend Vanderbilt University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology and Spanish. Finally, in 2017, they earned their Master of Science in Medical Clinical Sciences/Graduate Medical Studies from the University of South Florida.
