Partner, Latin America Venture Market Executive at Fuel Venture Capital

Juan Pablo Miró represents Fuel Venture Capital’s bridge to the emerging Latin American markets, thanks to his extensive experience spearheading growth efforts in major institutions throughout Central America.

As the firm’s LatAm Business executive, Juan Pablo works to establish and scale Fuel Venture Capital’s presence in key markets of Central and South America poised for venture capital deployment. He is also responsible for sourcing strategic partners and prospective Limited Partners whose native business expertise expand Fuel Venture Capital’s knowledge and network.

Before joining the Fuel Venture Capital team in 2019, Juan Pablo worked in Global Assist/Blue Medical as a corporate project manager, where he acquired and nurtured new accounts for the firm’s BPO division. His efforts developing strategic initiatives to create the first HMO business model in Guatemala allowed the country’s health insurance industry to shore up losses and near profitability.

Juan Pablo also has previously worked for Millicom Co. subsidiary Tigo in the company's financial division, analyzing and consolidating preliminary and final figures, budgets, forecasts, KPIs and all key business metrics related to cable, broadband and fixed-line business units.

Juan Pablo holds a bachelors of science in financial counseling and planning from Purdue University. He later earned his MBA from Madrid’s IE Business School.
