Ilker T. Budak has extensive work experience in various roles in the energy industry. Ilker T. is currently the Head of the Project Management Office at FuelCell Energy, where they oversee the coordination of PMO personnel and resources. Prior to this, they worked as a Sales & Business Development Manager at Doosan Fuel Cell America, Inc., where they developed and executed marketing and sales strategies for fuel cell products. Ilker T. also served as the Business Development Manager for USA & Canada in the Engines Business at Siemens Energy for almost 8 years. In addition, Ilker has experience as a Project Manager at Invensys and Vogt Power International, and as a Vice President of Sales at Kinsley Power Systems. Ilker T. started their career at Babcock & Wilcox Gama, where they held various roles including Chief Sales Engineer and Assistant PM & Site Manager. Ilker has a BSME degree, an MBA, and certifications as a PMP and CEM.

Ilker T. Budak holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi/Middle East Technical University, which they obtained from 1983 to 1989. Ilker T. also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Bellarmine University, obtained from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ilker T. Budak has obtained certifications as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers and as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
