Omar Morales

Omar Morales is a Project Manager at FuelCell Energy, where responsibilities include overseeing Trigen Projects, hydrogen initiatives, fuel cell power plants, renewable energies, and construction management using molten carbonate technology. Previously, Omar served as a Project Engineer focusing on system integration and product development for fuel cell power plant designs. At the University of New Haven, Omar worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, contributing to wind turbine certification projects and supervising Maker Space activities while conducting research in fluid dynamics and finite element models. Omar's earlier experience includes serving as a Design Engineer at COTECMAR, specializing in naval machinery and propulsion for the Colombian Navy, and as a Maintenance Trainee at Cementos Argos, managing maintenance for mining equipment. Omar holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Haven and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar.
