M. Malek Azizeh

M. Malek Azizeh's work experience includes various roles in the oil and gas industry. M. Malek is currently serving as an Operating Partner at Prostar Capital since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Commercial Director at Fujairah Oil Terminal FZC (FOT) starting from January 2014.

Before joining FOT, M. Malek Azizeh held the position of Regional Business Development Manager (MENEA) at Vopak from an unspecified date in 2010 until January 2014. M. Malek was responsible for the development of storage terminals and tank farms for oil and petrochemicals, including marine facilities.

Earlier in their career, M. Malek Azizeh worked at the University of Winchester as a Senior Lecturer and Head of Masters of Science in Business Management Programme from September 2007 to August 2010. M. Malek also served as the Head of the MBA program and a Senior Lecturer at Southampton Solent University from September 2004 to September 2007.

In their earlier professional journey, M. Malek Azizeh held the position of European Fuel Oil Market Coordinator at Akron Trade and Transport FZE from June 1999 to September 2004. M. Malek was involved in bunker fuel supplies and facilitating trade finance.

Lastly, they started their career as a Management Trainee at Metro Oil Corporation - Fujairah Oil Refinery in June 1996. The refinery was subsequently acquired by the Government of Fujairah before being managed by VTTI.

M. Malek Azizeh obtained a Masters degree in Strategic Marketing Management from Southampton between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they completed a BA in Finance at The International American University in 2000. Before their undergraduate studies, they earned an Associate Degree in International Business from National American University between 1996 and 1999. In 1995 to 1997, they obtained a Banking Diploma from the Emirates Institute for Banking & Financial Studies.
