Megan Willard (Pineda), Ph.D. is currently employed as Scientist II - Process Development at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies. Previously, Megan worked as a Quality Control Supervisor at Sanderson Farms and as a Quality Control Trainee at Sanderson Farms, Inc. Megan completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Poultry Science at Texas A&M University, where Megan conducted three independent research projects and designed laboratory protocols. Prior to their doctoral studies, Megan was an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of North Texas, where Megan measured oxygen consumption in birds and assisted on projects related to mitochondria respiration in neonatal bird species.
