Sunwoo Koo

Sunwoo Koo is a Senior Scientist at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies since February 2022, specializing in gene therapy, analytical development, method qualification, method development, and method transfer. Prior to this role, Sunwoo Koo served as an Assistant Professor - Research at Texas A&M University from May 2008 to August 2022, where responsibilities included writing research grants, supervising graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, and managing a laboratory as a principal investigator. Previous positions at Texas A&M University encompassed roles as an Assistant Research Scientist focused on the discovery of microRNA related to human glioblastoma invasion and a Postdoc Research Associate working on next-generation genomic sequencing for drug-resistant TB genes and protein structure analysis.
