Tim Gilpin

Tim Gilpin is a seasoned professional in the biopharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in manufacturing sciences and technology. Currently serving as the MS&T Manager, Operations at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies since February 2019, Tim oversees the technical transfer of biopharmaceutical drug substance processes. Previous roles include Senior Technical Project Leader and Technical Project Leader for process development, where Tim led complex tech transfer initiatives, collaborating with various departments to ensure successful project outcomes. Prior to FUJIFILM, Tim held positions at GSK from September 2013 to February 2019, including Senior Technologist and Biopharm FLP Development Scientist, where contributions included the design and delivery of a new GMP facility and the execution of critical regulatory submissions. Tim holds an MSc in Biochemical Engineering from UCL and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biochemistry from The University of Edinburgh.
