Giorgia Salvagiotto

Giorgia Salvagiotto has a diverse and extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry.

Giorgia currently works as an Area Sales Manager - Europe at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific, starting in July 2022.

Previously, they held various roles at FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics. From April 2020 to October 2022, they worked as a Discovery Research Account Manager. Prior to that, they served as a Market Development Manager from September 2018 to March 2020. From September 2016 to September 2018, they held the position of Technical Support Manager. Giorgia also worked as a Senior Field Application Scientist from November 2012 to September 2018 and as a Technical Application Scientist III from December 2010 to October 2012.

Earlier in their career, Giorgia worked as a Senior R&D Scientist at Fujifilm Cellular Dynamics from October 2008 to June 2010. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Research Associate at WiCell Research Institute from September 2006 to September 2008.

Giorgia Salvagiotto pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology from the Università degli Studi di Torino. This program extended from 1996 to 2001. Following this, they enrolled at the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology for a Ph.D. in Lymphoid Development, which they completed from 2002 to 2006.
