Mayasari Lim has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2000 at Novellus Systems Inc. as a Process Development Engineer, they later pursued their interests in stem cells and tissue engineering. From 2007 to 2008, Mayasari worked as a Researcher PHD Student at Imperial College London. Mayasari then joined Nanyang Technological University as an Assistant Professor, where they conducted research on stem cells and cardiac regeneration. During their time there, they also served as a Renaissance Engineering Programme Fellow. In 2014, Mayasari founded SE3D, a company focused on tissue fabrication and bioprinting. As the CEO, they led a team in integrating bioprinting technology for various industries and educational institutions. From 2017 to 2019, Mayasari worked as a Leadership Teaching Faculty at the University of California, Berkeley. Mayasari also served as a Bioprinting Ambassador at 3DHeals from 2018 to 2020. In 2019, they joined RoosterBio Inc. as a Regional Account Manager, responsible for business accounts and relations in several regions. Their role then transitioned to a Technology Evangelist, where they provided guidance and best practices in MSC manufacturing for cell therapy. Currently, Mayasari is an Associate Director at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific, where they focus on providing custom media for bioproduction and cell & gene therapy. Customer satisfaction and value are central to their role.

Mayasari Lim completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. The duration of this degree program is unknown. Following this, Mayasari pursued a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London, completing the program from 2004 to 2008.
