Michael Gomez

Michael Gomez has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Michael currently works as a Product Compliance Manager at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific, a position they started in February 2022. Prior to this, Michael worked at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics from September 2020 to February 2022 as a Global Product Tech Support Engineer II. In this role, they provided email and phone support for the AU Chemistry Analyzer product line and drafted Technical Bulletins to communicate product updates.

Before joining Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Michael worked at Bio-Rad Laboratories as a Production Chemist II from April 2020 to September 2020. Michael also held the role of Production Chemist I from November 2016 to March 2020 at the same company. In these positions, they served as a Product Lead on core products, directed a team of chemists, and earned Spotlight Awards for their contributions to Lean and 5s efforts.

From 2013 to 2016, Michael worked at Immunalysis Corporation as a Production Chemist II and a Production Chemist I. In these roles, they trained new employees, manufactured medical devices, performed product testing, and conducted stability testing.

At the start of their career, Michael worked as an Assistant Warehouse Manager at HCS Cutler from January 2007 to January 2009. In this role, they managed temporary warehouse associates, trained new employees, and coordinated deliveries and vendor pickups as a dispatch for truck drivers.

Michael Gomez earned their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in University Studies: Math & Science from Chaffey College, which they attended from 2007 to 2010. Michael then went on to pursue their Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Biochemistry at UCLA, where they studied from 2010 to 2012.
