Scott Storms

Scott Storms has extensive work experience in various roles within the laboratory and biotechnology industry. Scott is currently serving as the Associate Director of Manufacturing Support and Services at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Laboratory Manager at Eurofins from September 2021 to October 2022. From September 2019 to September 2020, Scott held the position of Director of Corporate Strategy at Eclipse Lighting & Electrical. Scott also worked as a Laboratory Director at Certified Laboratories, Inc. from May 2018 to September 2019. Scott's experience includes roles such as Laboratory Manager at Food Safety Net Services from March 2013 to May 2018, Consultant at Cell Culture Consulting, LLC from February 2010 to March 2013, and Laboratory Manager, QC & QA at Specialty Enzymes and Biotechnologies from May 2012 to November 2012. Earlier in their career, Scott served as the Director of Research & Development at Irvine Scientific from July 2002 to February 2010, MIS Manager (acting MIS Director) at High Technology Solutions from August 2000 to August 2001, and BioInformation Systems Manager at Harvard Medical School from September 1997 to July 2000.

Scott Storms earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from California State University, Long Beach, from 1985 to 1988. Scott then pursued further education at UC Irvine, where they obtained a PhD in Biological Sciences from 1990 to 1995.
