Andrew Dias is an accomplished R&D professional with extensive experience in the field of biomedical engineering, particularly in stem cell research and therapeutics. Currently serving as R&D Associate Director at FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics, Andrew has progressed through various research roles focusing on ocular cell therapy and induced pluripotent stem cell-derived retinal therapeutics since joining the company in August 2017. Prior to this, Andrew held a postdoctoral position at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where research involved biomaterials for stem cell expansion and organoid assembly. Andrew's academic background includes a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as a B.S. in the same field from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additional experience includes roles as a research assistant, teaching assistant, and summer intern in various research and development capacities.
