Atsushi Abe

Atsushi Abe is a Japanese business executive who currently serves as Non-Executive Director at Fujitsu. Atsushi has previously held positions at Sangyo Sosei Advisory Inc., ON Semiconductor Corporation, Unitas Capital, Deutsche Securities, Ltd., and Duetsche Bank Alex. Brown. Abe began their career in 1977 as Manager of the Industrial Electronics Division at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. In 1993, they transitioned to Alex. Brown & Sons, Inc. where they served as Managing Director of Technology Investment Banking until 1998. That year, they joined Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown (formerly Alex. Brown & Sons, Inc.) as Managing Director and Head of Semiconductor Investment Banking. In 2001, they moved to Deutsche Securities, Ltd. as Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance. In 2004, they joined Unitas Capital (formerly CCMP Capital Asia, JPMorgan Partners Asia) as Partner and Head of Japan where they made investments in the technology sector. In 2009, they left Unitas Capital to join ON Semiconductor Corporation as a board member. Abe has been with Fujitsu since 2012.

Atsushi Abe graduated from Waseda University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Atsushi then went on to Stanford University Graduate School of Business where they earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).
