Kim Tran

Kim Tran is a Fulbright Scholar at the Karolinska Institute, engaged in research at Villablanca Lab from September 2024 to June 2025. Previously, Kim served as a Bessemer Fellow at Bessemer Venture Partners, selected as one of 13 fellows from over 2,100 applicants across North America. Kim's experience includes roles at Conscience VC on the investments team, managing director at Nucleate Dojo, where support was provided to biotech innovators, and program manager/advisor for innovative funding initiatives within Nucleate. As managing partner at GC Venture Fellows, Kim invested in student-founded startups, while a research assistant at Princeton University's Kang Lab focused on breast cancer metastasis. Additional experience comprises internships at Oshi Health and Morgan Stanley, along with leadership roles in TigerLaunch and Old Silver VC. Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology and Environmental Studies from Princeton University.
