Miriam Patterson

Miriam Patterson is a seasoned professional in legal and regulatory affairs within the capital markets sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Market Practice & Regulatory Policy at the International Capital Market Association since April 2023, Miriam collaborates with the Legal & Documentation Committee and oversees regulatory engagement in the EU and UK. As Co-Chair of The Forum For US Securities Lawyers in London since February 2022, Miriam addresses issues related to US securities laws in the international capital markets. Additionally, Miriam holds a Commissioner position at the US-UK Fulbright Commission, appointed by the UK Secretary of State, contributing to the scholarship organization's mission established by treaty between the two governments. Prior experience includes roles at Thomson Reuters as Senior Editor of Practical Law, as well as positions at Latham & Watkins and Allen & Overy.
