I&E Reliability Engineer at Sierra Biofuels Refinery at Fulcrum Bioenergy

James Bough has had a long and successful career in the engineering field. James began their career in 1994 as an Electrical Engineer-in-Training at Energy A.D., where they prepared contract drawings and performed design calculations. In 1995, they moved to CTA Architects Engineers, where they were the Engineer-of-Record for the main office, overseeing the projects of up to 10 electrical engineers and designers while managing personal projects in the design of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential structures. In 2004, they joined MKK Consulting Engineers as an Electrical Engineer, where they mentored engineers in the local office and performed education seminars for remote offices. James also developed the company's master specifications and prepared design contracts and fee proposals. In 2008, they became a Sales Engineer/Specialist at Siemens Industry, Inc., where they supervised the activities of and trained personnel at 19 distributor branches, and provided technical support for and sold electrical power distribution and controls products. In 2012, they moved to Electrical Solutions Consulting Company as a Principal Engineer, where they prepared design contracts and fee proposals, as well as performed design calculations. In 2013, they joined the Bureau of Reclamation as a Technical Services Group Electrical Engineer, where they were responsible for design, installation oversight, maintenance, and reliability of power related equipment. In 2014, they moved to Anvil Corporation, where they served as a Reliability Electrical Engineer for the Coker Process Area Units and the Utilities Area Units, and as an Electrical Engineering Work Group Leader to Shell Puget Sound Refinery. In 2021, they joined Fulcrum BioEnergy, Inc. as an I&E Reliability Engineer at Sierra Biofuels Refinery.

James Bough attended Billings West High School from 1989 to 1990 and then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Montana State University-Bozeman from 1990 to 1994.
