Shahid Hussain

Shahid Hussain currently serves as the Regional Head, Central at Fulcrum. Prior to their current position, Shahid worked as a Site Administrator for Group Five Construction from May 2008 to September 2010. In this role, they were responsible for managing and operating the development and implementation of administrative systems and procedures to support the operational team within the Outsource Staffing Business Unit. This included liaising with Corporate Services such as HR regarding mobilization of new joiners, arrival details, visa processing and renewals, passport release and induction. Shahid was also responsible for liaising with Logistics regarding transportation and accommodation, as well as working closely with the Payroll team regarding payrolls, time and attendance sheets and invoicing. Additionally, they maintained data bases, monitored Kronos data base work force system and ensured their cost codes were booked correctly as per the site activities. Other duties included implementing and imposing the penalties as per UAE Labor Law against the defaulter/ employee disciplinary issues, processing all types of leave (vacation, sick, compassionate), managing the administration team to get work updated on time, making and implementing administration policies for the controlling of employees attendance, discipline punctuality on site according to their working hours, supporting Top Management and Account Managers on daily contractual operational requirements, attending weekly site progress meetings with Site Management regarding site administration issues and attending fortnightly meetings in H.O discussion administration matters.

Shahid Hussain has a Master’s Degree in Economics from Shah Abdul Latif University. Shahid also has certification from Pakistan Institute of Management in Strategic Human Resource Organizational Development and certification from Skill Development Council Pakistan in Diploma Hardware and Networking.

They are on a team with Akbar Aziz - Head of Audit, Ahmed Murtaza - Head of Operations, and Nawab Husain - Senior Consultant. Shahid Hussain reports to Rukhsana Asgher, CEO.
