Patricia Murphy

Patricia Murphy, MBA (PhD Candidate), has a strong background in sales and commercial leadership roles within the healthcare and life sciences industry. Patricia is currently the Vice President of Sales - Precision Medicine at Fulgent Genetics, where they lead the commercial launch of precision diagnostics and hematopathology solutions for community oncologists and health system cancer centers in the US. Prior to this, they served as an Executive Sales Director at Labcorp, focusing on sustainable growth in the oncology channels through strategic alliances and partnerships. Patricia also held the position of Regional Vice President of Sales at Siemens Healthineers, where they successfully distributed lab instrumentation solutions for commercial and clinical laboratories. Patricia has experience in commercial development and market access, having worked as the Executive Vice President - Commercial US at SkylineDx BV and Regional Business Manager at SkylineDx BV. Patricia has also worked as an Independent Sales Consultant at LTS Health and Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona. Earlier in their career, they held various sales and marketing roles at Quest Diagnostics and LabCorp, where they consistently achieved top sales performance. Patricia holds an MBA and is currently pursuing a PhD.

Patricia Murphy, MBA (PhD Candidate), obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from California Baptist University in 2015. Prior to that, they achieved a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Redlands School of Business & Society in 2012. In 1993, they earned another Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Phoenix, and in 1988, they completed an associate's degree in Business from Triton College. Currently, Patricia is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health - Leadership from California Baptist University, with an expected completion date in 2022.
