Patrick Aghajanian

Patrick Aghajanian, PhD, is a Senior Genetic Curation Scientist I at Fulgent Genetics since October 2017, specializing in genetic curation and gene copy number analysis, with contributions to the determination of copy number variations and quality assurance testing across various platforms. Prior to this role, Patrick served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Loma Linda Veterans Association for Research and Education, focusing on the effects of ascorbic acid and thyroid hormone on bone and cartilage cells. Patrick's academic background includes a PhD in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from UCLA, where involvement in research projects encompassed development of intestinal stem cells and antibody engineering for prostate cancer therapeutics.
