Stephanie Black

Stephanie Black is an accomplished International Theological Education Specialist at Serge since September 2015 and serves as the Associate Director for Orientation and Training at Theologians Without Borders since January 2019. With a rich background in theological education, Stephanie has held multiple roles, including Teaching Elder at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and Affiliate Associate Professor of New Testament at Fuller Theological Seminary. Stephanie's teaching experience spans various institutions, including the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies and Africa International University, where a focus on biblical hermeneutics and Greek exegesis is evident. Prior to current roles, Stephanie worked as a language instructor and played a significant role in preparing international students for success in U.S. academic culture. Stephanie's educational credentials include a PhD in Biblical Greek from the University of Roehampton and a Master’s Degree in Teaching English for Academic Purposes from the University of Nottingham, among other qualifications.
