Jason Chew

Jason Chew has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Jason is currently serving as the Head of Operational Risk at Fullerton Fund Management since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Lion Global Investors as an Associate Director in Risk Management from August 2016 to September 2021. Jason has also worked at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) as an Operational Risk Manager from January 2015 to July 2016, and at Standard Chartered Bank in Middle Office from September 2012 to January 2015. Before that, they held the position of Operations Manager at APS Asset Management Pte Ltd from August 2009 to September 2012. Jason began their career as an Associate at DBS Asset Management from January 2005 to 2009 and worked as an Associate at KPMG from 2003 to December 2004.

Jason Chew attended Raffles Institution from 1996 to 1997. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance at The University of Queensland from 2000 to 2002. In terms of additional certifications, Jason obtained their CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification from CPA Australia in July 2009. Jason also obtained the GRCP (GRC Professional) certification from OCEG (Open Compliance & Ethics Group) in February 2020. Furthermore, in March 2021, Jason obtained the SEA - Individual Professional certification from RMIA (Risk Management Institute of Australasia) and, most recently, in October 2022, they achieved the Business Continuity Certified Expert certification from the Business Continuity Management Institute, BCM Institute.
