Lee Maurin

Lee Maurin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lee started their career as a SCADA/Gas Control Engineer at Tejas Power Corporation, where they routed natural gas on the US continental natural gas pipeline grid. Following this, they worked at Baker Hughes as a Field Test Engineer, testing development surface and downhole MWD systems and later became a Senior Field Service Engineer, running directional tools in the Gulf of Mexico.

In 2000, Lee Maurin joined ATB Services as an Internet Marketer, generating commission-only sales through websites they created. Lee also developed and maintained websites using various web packages and languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, and PHP. Lee continued in this role until 2013.

During this time, Lee also attended Austin Community College and participated in multiple web development courses, achieving certifications for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), and A+.

In 2013, Lee Maurin began working for HIREDTexas as a Web Developer, Forum Host, and Content Writer, where they provided services for the HIREDTexas Job Club in Round Rock, Texas. Lee hosted forums on improving LinkedIn profiles.

In 2015, Lee Maurin joined National Oilwell Varco as a Field Engineer, conducting field and lab tests on downhole prototypes and surface systems. Lee built images for surface systems and developed maintenance manuals for proprietary products.

From 2017 to 2020, Lee Maurin worked at MyRide as a Web Developer and Web Designer, designing and building web pages for a startup developing a Sign Labeling System for an international traffic sign database. Lee utilized the MERN Stack, HTML5, and CSS3.

Currently, Lee Maurin is a Frontend Developer at Fullsteam, where they build websites for dumpster rental companies using a custom LAMP stack template. Lee builds custom sections/pages and utilizes HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 3, and JavaScript.

Lee Maurin has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Orleans. They also have a Webmaster Design/Media Certificate from Austin Community College and have completed various business and technical courses from Lynda.com. Additionally, Lee Maurin has a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp and has pursued computer programming studies at Lone Star College. They obtained a H.S. Diploma in General Studies from Bonnabel High School. In terms of additional certifications, Lee Maurin has obtained a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification, a CompTIA A+ certification, an Engineering-in-Training certification from the State of Louisiana, a Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet certification, and a U S Coast Guard - Able Seaman certification.
