Irv Salisbury

Director, Solutions Architecture at FullStory

Irv Salisbury has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Irv started their career at Sun Microsystems as a Systems Engineer, where they contributed to the development of Oak, later renamed Java. Irv also served as a Java Consultant for various Fortune 500 companies and conducted Java programming classes.

Later, Irv founded DOTech / directThought, a consulting company where they worked with notable clients such as Xerox, Kodak, and Pfizer. Irv was involved in teaching Java, XML, and Webservices classes and managed a team of 50 employees with $10 million in revenue.

In 2008, Irv established their own company, Green Goby Software, focused on Java, Web Services, Web, and Flex development. During this time, they gained extensive experience as an owner and consultant.

From 2017 to 2022, Irv joined EPIC Retirement Plan Services as a Senior Solutions Architect. Irv played a vital role in bringing the company's software development in-house and led the development of numerous software components. Additionally, they contributed to expanding the full stack development team to 12 members.

Currently, Irv works as the Director of Solutions Architecture at FullStory. Irv takes direct responsibility for working with the company's largest customers, providing customized insights, integrations, and analytics guidance. Irv has also developed internal tools, including a widely utilized Chrome extension.

Irv Salisbury attended Marion High School from 1980 to 1993, where they obtained a Honors Regents degree in Computer Science. Irv then went on to study Biomedical Computing (Pre Med and Computer Science) at Rochester Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1998.
