Esther Rodriguez

Esther Rodriguez is an accomplished professional in the field of science and technology with extensive experience in international research initiatives. Currently serving as Director at Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología (FECYT) since May 2022, Esther oversees the European office and European research area departments. Previously, Esther held leadership roles including Head of Unit at the European Project Office at ISCIII (FCSAI) and Coordinator in the Oficina Europea at FECYT, where responsibilities included promoting ERC funding opportunities. Early career experience includes project management roles at FECYT and consultancy work at CARSA, as well as a pre-doctoral researcher position at CNRS. Esther's educational background includes a PhD in Physics from Université Paris Cité and a post-graduate degree in project management from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
