Marcelo Carvajal Monge

Marcelo Carvajal Monge is an experienced professional in the fields of cybersecurity, public administration, and engineering. Currently serving as a Board Member at CYBERSEC Cluster since May 2022, Marcelo has played a crucial role in establishing a collaborative network aimed at enhancing cybersecurity capabilities across Latin America and the Caribbean. Marcelo holds the position of General Manager at Fundación Omar Dengo since June 2012, where a wide range of educational and innovative social programs are developed and managed with significant budgets and partnerships. Previous roles include consulting for Earl Trustees BV and Novita Capital, and serving as Chief of the Engineering and Maintenance Department at Costa Rica Children National Hospital. Marcelo's academic background includes advanced degrees in Public Administration and Business Administration from prestigious institutions such as The London School of Economics and INCAE Business School, complemented by a degree in Electronic Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
