Pedro Mendes

Pedro Mendes is an accomplished engineering professional with a robust background in software development and research, particularly within virtual reality and interactive applications. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at FundamentalVR since October 2018, Pedro has advanced through various engineering roles within the company. Prior experience includes positions at the University of Bath, focusing on object tracking for VR, and as a software developer at Mental Factory, where interactive applications were developed for the Museu do Dinheiro in Lisbon, Portugal. Additionally, Pedro has held specialist roles at Deloitte Digital in virtual and augmented reality, as well as research positions in computer graphics and animation at Porto Interactive Center and other institutions. Pedro holds a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
