Adriana Pislaru Toma

Adriana Pislaru Toma has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Adriana started their career at TechTeam Global as a 2nd Level Support Specialist, Single Point of Contact, and Trainer. Adriana then worked at Oracle as a Contracts Specialist before joining Groupama Asigurari Romania as a Trainer and HR Advisor. Adriana then moved to METRO SYSTEMS Romania, where they held the position of Senior HR Consultant, responsible for HR partnership, people development, talent acquisition, and HR operations.

After METRO SYSTEMS Romania, Adriana joined Intralinks as a Human Resources Business Partner, where they worked closely with the EMEA SVP and the Leadership team. Adriana facilitated the talent management agenda and played a key role in the growth and development of the Romania tech hub. Adriana later became the Director of Human Resources at Intralinks, overseeing the set-up and growth of the tech hub.

Following their time at Intralinks, Adriana joined Blue Prism as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, where they partnered with the Global Marketing organization and the EMEA General Manager. Adriana supported organizational transformation and business processes integration following an acquisition, as well as international expansion from a People and employment practices standpoint. Adriana also acted as the global L&D champion, launching and promoting initiatives such as LinkedIn Learning.

Most recently, Adriana worked at Tractable as the Head Of Talent Management and then as the People Experience Director. In these roles, they led people development, culture, and engagement efforts, coaching their team to drive impact through talent management principles and practices. Adriana also had global ownership of performance and growth practices, leadership enablement, and organizational design. Adriana played a key role in Tractable's recognition as a Best Place to Work certified company.

Currently, Adriana is the Head of People at FundApps, where they oversee people-related initiatives and strategies.

Adriana Pislaru Toma began their education at National Bilingual Highschool "G. Cosbuc" in Bucharest from 1998 to 2002. Adriana then attended the University of Bucharest from 2002 to 2006, where they studied Applied Modern Languages, focusing on English and Spanish. In 2004, they also briefly studied English and Spanish at the Universitat d'Alacant. In addition to their academic achievements, Adriana obtained various certifications including the DISC Assessment Certification from Data Dome, Inc. in September 2018, the Shift Positive 360° Coach Certification from Shift Positive 360 in March 2018, and the DDI Facilitator certification from DDI | Development Dimensions International in April 2016.
