Mark Potts has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mark began their career at rsa group, where they served as a Strategy & Planning Leader, responsible for developing and delivering client service propositions. Mark was also part of the senior leadership team involved in delivering compliance services to commercial customers in the UK and ROI. During their tenure, Mark was responsible for implementing a new IT system for field-based engineers and a back-office environment for the customer service center.

Mark later transitioned to the role of UK Production and Masonry Manager, responsible for coordinating production facilities and managing a national sub-contractor network.

In 2016, Mark joined The Co-op as a Senior Operations Manager - Funeralcare. In this position, they focused on driving operational excellence in service delivery and was accountable for organizational design implementation, including people, technology, and process changes. After two years in this role, Mark assumed the position of Head of Operational Support at Funeral Partners Limited. In this position, they lead operational support teams, overseeing property delivery, fleet strategy, masonry products, and services.

Mark Potts completed their education at Oldham College from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Studies. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in "Managing Experienced Managers" from LinkedIn in September 2018.
