Jimmy Yeap

Jimmy Yeap has a comprehensive background in engineering with a focus on software and hardware development for network interconnect solutions. Jimmy has worked at Fungible, Inc. as an engineer since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Intel Corporation from 2014 to 2019, where they held roles as a Design Engineer and Staff Engineer. In these roles, they designed concurrent communication stacks and user interfaces for debugging hardware systems, improved customer knowledge through GUI and software solutions, and enabled customer measurement of interconnect bandwidth. Before Intel Corporation, Jimmy worked at Altera from 2005 to 2014 as a Staff Engineer, where they were the technical lead and architect for a network on-chip interconnect solution. Jimmy'saccomplishments at Altera include providing vision and defining the engineering roadmap for soft interconnect, as well as designing key features of the Qsys system integration tool. Jimmy also contributed to the development of Altera's SOPC Builder design tool and wrote test code for custom instructions.

Jimmy Yeap attended Monash University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Computer Systems.
