Chris Fennell

Designer at Funko

Chris Fennell has a diverse work experience in the creative field. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Freelance Character Designer at Awesome Incorporated and Bento Box Entertainment LLC, where they were responsible for creating character designs and generating turn-arounds. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Character Design and Setup Artist, overseeing the cleaning and setup of rough characters and contributing additional designs for various projects. From 2017 to the present, Chris has been a Designer at Funko, where they have been involved in daily ideation and artistic development of collectible consumer products. They have also worked as a Freelance Illustrator at Penguin Random House, illustrating books featuring popular franchises.

Chris Fennell has a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts and Animation, which was obtained from The Art Institutes. This academic achievement took place between 2005 and 2009. Afterward, Chris went on to pursue further education at Savannah College of Art and Design. From 2011 to 2014, Chris studied at this institution and obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Animation.
