Helene Sandstrom

Helene Sandstrom is an experienced researcher and writer currently at Funmed Group since March 2021. Sandstrom has been a science journalist and translator with Ordbytet kommunikation since January 1997, and serves as an editorial board member at Hälsa & Funktionsmedicin since January 2019. As co-founder and board member of The Swedish Foundation for Functional Medicine from January 2020 to April 2022, and press officer/editor at Nordic Nutrition Council from 2015 to March 2021, Sandstrom has a robust background in functional medicine and nutrition communication. Previous experience includes project management and translation at Accent Language Services from 2004 to 2007. Sandstrom's educational background includes degrees from Umeå University, Karolinska Institutet, Kristianstad University, NNFS, and the University of Gothenburg.
