Duane D.j. Johnson

Duane D.J. Johnson currently serves as a FUSE Executive Fellow, leading strategic communications initiatives at the Los Angeles County Department of Beaches & Harbors to enhance equity and sustainability at county beaches. In addition, Johnson is a member of the LA Metro Community Advisory Council, engaged in improving public transportation access for marginalized communities. With extensive experience as a Communications Consultant at Glory Days Consulting since 2008, Johnson develops strategic frameworks and enhances brand visibility for various organizations. As Vice President at LAGRANT COMMUNICATIONS, Johnson directed communications for key health initiatives, while previously serving as an Account Director at iMixim, focusing on community strategy in the AI-based SaaS music sector. Early career contributions include training ESL instructors at Language Systems International, talent management at Done Deal Entertainment, co-founding the Miami Nights Midnight Basketball League to support at-risk youth, and holding a position as Assistant Sports Director at Youth and Family Service.
