Lynique Charles is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Head of School at Fusion Academy since August 2021. Prior experience includes holding the position of Head of School at Futures Academy from June 2018 to August 2021 and serving as District Training Director at Sylvan Learning Centers from September 2014 to June 2018. Lynique Charles began a career in admissions as an Admissions Representative at Corinthian Colleges, Inc., where responsibilities included managing recruitment programs for higher education. Prior to this, Lynique Charles worked as a Senior Sales Specialist II at Attorneys Corporation Service, Inc., focusing on account management for Rocket Lawyer. Lynique Charles earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Cellular Biology: Physiology from California State University, Long Beach, graduating in 2011.

Over 20 years ago Fusion Academy started as a single, truly unique private school in Solana Beach, CA. In 2009, Fusion Education Group (FEG) helped replicate the school with a Los Angeles campus and has continued to do so across the country.
