Elena Steward

Elena Steward has extensive work experience in project management and IT roles. Elena is currently working as a Senior IT Project Manager at Fusion Connect since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Windstream as a Senior IT Project Manager from June 2020 to October 2022. Before that, they were a Project Manager at Knovos from July 2019 to June 2020.

From April 2018 to July 2019, Elena worked at Washington Gas as an IT Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for determining strategic direction and participated in decision making to migrate the entire datacenter to AWS. Elena also saved $400,000 annually by decreasing the operating budget and negotiating new contracts. Elena additionally oversaw the successful build-out of several new facilities.

Elena Steward has a diverse educational background. Elena obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Towson University in Towson, MD, from 2008 to 2011. In 2013 and 2014, they attended Prince George's Community College, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator. Prior to their studies in the United States, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business/Managerial Economics from Kuban' Institute of International Entrepreneurship and Management in Krasnodar, Russia, from 1998 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Elena has acquired several certifications. Elena became a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) through the Scrum Alliance in January 2021. In February 2017, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the same institution. Elena has also completed the Business Analyst Essentials Master Class, though the institution that provided this certification is not specified.
